In an effort to restore some of his credibility on the Chip Wagon, we should point out that Damion Square made quite an effort for a nose tackle on this particular play.
Pre-snap, Square is lined up at NT as a "0" technique right over the center. However, his assignment is to stunt all the way outside of the TE on the strong side of the formation:
Square exhibits some really nice laterally quickness here to get to the edge quickly. Kendricks applies pressure on Orton on a blitz, and Orton dumps the ball to Murray all the way on the other side of the field. Square sees it, and pursues:
and makes it all the way back across the field for the "errrr" tackle:
In fairness to Square. For an NFL Nose Tackle to cover that kind of ground on one play, that's about the equivalent of a half-marathon.
